I was officially metered at 139.8 with my old GZ nuke 12". That is OK, but nothing special as far as SPL goes, but since then i upgraded to a IDSPL 15 and then to a Brahma 12, and they were both considerably louder with about the same power 1200 watts. I did throw my brother in law's ported Brahma 15 in my car for a whild and it was probably close to the 150 Db mark, that is pretty good for a SQ tuned ported box. It is the most fantastic sounding sub i have ever heard (well tied with the IDSPL and the Brahma 12 sealed). Loud SQ is the name of the game

Haven't put it on the meter yet. I need more voltage the three batteries & 6 farad supply just is not enough. When I pump it the car goes to 11 volts. But its still pretty darn loud.

Read the thread again. 160dB OUTLAW. Although outlaw isn't a fair comparison it's easily possible for him to be hitting 160dB that way.
