Looking for exhaust setup advice...please come in

I currently have the mods listed in the sig. i have pacesetter long tubes and a hooker catback. I like the sound, but it's a little restrictive at this point and i want it louder and better sounding. I think the car is too quiet. I'm probably looking at true duals or something custom made, but I'm not sure which mufflers to use. I want something louder than what i have, but not as loud as bullets or anything similar. I think the mustang x pipe sound is great and I've hardly heard any mustang exhaust i didn't like. the f-body cross-over muffler, however, very negotiable. I wouldn't mind having the deep mustang tone. anyone have any ideas. it's hard to search for since there's not a whole lot of variation of sound clips of custom setups. for space and clearance reasons, i'll probably have both pipes follow the stock pipe routing under the car with some kind of smaller x-pipe and then break off on both sides of the gas tank. sound clips and or videos are welcome and appreciated. thanks for reading

just get an e-cutout..loud when you want..quiet when you dont. otherwise, think about an x-pipe with edelbrocks or xr1's.

2.5" true duals with magnaflow 4x9" mufflers

awesome sound and great flow.

and the magnaflow X pipe works great for what you want to do. cause the inlet/outlet for the X are parallel, so you can run the pipes side by side.

search for gripenfelter's true duals thread...there are several pics of setups, including what you mentioned. and there is a sound clip of my cammed LS1 with the 3" TD, Xpipe and 4x9 magnaflows

True duals are nice. If it's sound you want, mine came with a Flowmaster which was good but a little loud, so I added SLP ss resonators and mellowed it a bit with a unique center exit tip. Worked asthetically and a neat tone. But sound is subjective. That's why some like woofers more than tweeters. JayP. Just my 2Cs.
