Exhaust System From headers to exhaust tips

long or short

witch would be better long tube or short tube headers and witch comp should i go with ones that will not cost an arm and leg

Cost won't be much of an issue, they will come out around the same either way. The long tubes will offer the best flow and gains. The main issue is if you have to deal with emissions, if you do, then I would stick with shorties or mid-lengths.

well i live in fl and i think that they stop doing emissions befor i could drive lol !!!
so what type of long tubes are the the easyest to install in my car and everyone has told me it is going to be a pain in the *** anyways

They all pretty much provide the same results, it then turns into a matter of quality and money. The Kooks are by far the best on the market, but that is reflected in the cost as well. The Pacesetters, Hookers, and Jet-Hots are cheaper, but may have some shortcomings in the quality department versus the Kooks. I would spend the extra money and get them coated and keep in mind you will need a new y-pipe as well that fits the long tube headers.

I would say the sound alone you get from longtubes makes it worth it.

LT's and offroad Y doesnt cost that much...perform much better then shorties
