Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust

Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust
I must have the worst luck. Does anybody have a picture of the connection of the intermediate pipe to Madhammer (GMMG) install? I must have a hacked Y-pipe as my connection came up short. As in, the GMMG pipe only slips in the Y-pipe roughly a quarter inch. Then to top that off, I have to find a LS1 driver's side exhaust hanger while everything is sitting apart. Boy did I miss that part! Would it make sense to add a 3" id to 3" od coupling to fix my shortage or should I have Madhammer make me a new piece 2" longer?

Re: Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust
Anybody have a picture of their LT1 Kooks Y-pipe intermediate pipe connection so that I can compare where mine was hacked and how it is different? Is the GMMG exhaust to slip over or in the end of the y-pipe?

Re: Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust
Either fixing to order a new Y-pipe with cats or try to get the pipe from Madhammer to extend my exhaust forward. Would it be worth it to spend the extra coin for a Catted Y-pipe with this exhaust?

Re: Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust
Madhammer has excellent customer service. He calls me back last night and we work out a plan. He is going to make me a new intermediate pipe 3.5" longer and going to upsize it to fit over my Kooks y-pipe.

Re: Kooks Y-Pipe to GMMG exhaust
I just installed a GMMG in my LT1 camaro using the drivers side exhaust mount from a LS1 car. My GMMG is off-center towards the pass. side and sits a little lower than desired. Don't really see how I can center it up because of the pass. side mount. Can I get pics of your exhaust hangers and did you have to work on centering yours up. Also what did you do to pull your tips up higher?
