Thumbs down Kooks LT with spohn TA with safety loop

Well i dont know if anyone running this setup but damn i was disapointed...

I ve finnally install my new engine yesterday and finalyse the exhaust today(Kooks LT stainless,Kooks y-pipe stainless,Magnaflow stainless cat back).

The headers fit perfectly without any rubbing or problem. The y-pipe merge into the cat back without any problem BUT...

The y-pipe wont clear the front driveshaft safety loop on my spohn adjustable TA(chassis mount).I ve tried to move the y-pipe a little to the left but no matter what, there was still hittings each other.

I finally cuut the DS loop because there is no way that i would dent the best set of headers you can get

Just wanted to know if there is some member that run this setup with or without this problem?

Thanks

Man it looks clean

Mine would never have fit.Ive tried for 3 hours with a friend and the y pipe was still touch the loop...

I just ask myself: Do i bang a 1K set of headers/y pipe or just cut a 40$ add on...Easy answer.I decide to cut it but i kep it.I ll try to reweld it in another way.

Did you hook up the y pipe with the stock cat brackets? Mine do not seems to fit

I had no problems with the Spohn TA and my Pacesetter LTs and ORY. However, ground clearance is a totally different story. I have caught the crossmember portion of the torque arm several times now on the pavement.

No problem with the spohn TA too just with the driveshaft safety loop.

I got the same problem with the long tube TA crossmember.IT hit everything...Im thinking of switching to a normal straight crossmember.

Mine fit fine, too...I have the Kooks stepped LTs and Kooks Y-pipe using the Spohn tunnel brace mounted TA with 2 DS loops, and actually I had the TA set up for shorties without the dip in the center designed for LTs...zero fitment issues...We did fab up a trick little hanger that we welded to the y-pipe and attached to one of the old TA bolt holes on the tail shaft just to keep everything steady, but it fit great...You sure you got the right Y-pipe?

I have since switched to custom 3" TDs, though...
