I need to pass emissions

Question I need to pass emissions

i have a 1998 camaro with hooker headers slp loudmouth exhaust and no cats i live in Georgia and need to pass emissions i have 2 o2 sensors and when the computer reads it says it needs 2 o2 sensors and air pump i have an air pump but its not hooked up . i need help if any one knows what i can do thats inexpensive??

the air pump, i dont know. the o2's are the post cat i assume? if so just get a pair of or sims

Hook up the air pump and fix whatever problem that caused you to unplug it in the firstplace. As for the cats, as mentioned above, plug in a pair of 02 simulators. Also, you could just get the PCM tuned so that the rear 02 sensors and AIR system are removed.

If you don't have a visual/sniffer test just have the AIR and rear 02 codes turned off. Still have EGR? If so I'd have them deleted also.

i know back in the day they used to stick steel wool in the exhaust. that helped throw off the sniffer. just disconnect the end of your LTs stick some steel wool in there. just don't get on it or you will blow it right out the end of your exhaust. lol and hope it doesn't blow out when they test
