how to connect y pipe to catback?

i'll be installing a set of lt's with an ory soon and i was wondering how people have connected the back end of their y pipes to the rest of the exhaust system. did you guys use lap joint band clamps, butt joint band clamps? or is there already a stock clamp there that can be re-used?

I replaced the flat hard to find band clamp (forgot what it was called) with a sheet metal band clamp. It works fine.. But they don't work so well on the short collector SLP LT's connecting to the Y. It leaks a little. Seems fine on my buddy's Pacesetter LT's.

I used a butt joint clamp, it works fine, no leaks.
