Hooker Aero Chamber Muffler?

Ok, i originally wanted a HOOKER cat back for my 94z but there was a backorder when i was to buy!My ? is can you change the 80 series i have now to the HOOKER one;will it fit etc,or should i just go ahead and get the HOOKER catback and be done w/it? BTW i have a FLOWMASTER cat back on the car now.Any opinions,reply,s appreciated.

All you need is the muffler. I dont know if its the exact same size as the flowmaster, but if it isnt, you can take it to an exhaust shop to make it work. Thats the same muffler Im going to get too. Ive had the flowmaster for way too long.

Thanks for the reply. Iam going to take my car to a exhaust shop to see if i have a exh.manifold leak and ask about the HOOKER muffler fitment.

I was in your exact spot, I had flowmaster AI and then ditched the muffler for a aerochamber. def a good move, flowmaster sucks

do you not like the way it sounds with the lts/ory and flowmaster?? thats the setup im going to have next weekend

Ok i had two places check for exhaust leak and neither place could find anything,but one place said i have a noisier valvetrain which seems odd since i have not done 1.6 rockers yet! Since i just ran a bottle of fuel system cleaner and fresh fuel(90 octane) and still getting KR(5.0)i will try another bottle and put in some 91/92 fuel and try eliminate this stupid KR
BTW what muffler did you use,or do you just use the one that comes w/their catback? THANKS.

I am curious about this as well..I am thinking of just replacing my muffler because my T/A is my DD and I just want a more aggressive tone.

just put the aro chamber cat back on my 98 its the cats *** still has stock y pipe and cats but has 1 3/4 hooker shorties on it sounds great let me know qhat it sounds like
