header/exaust question

hey guys. i have a 95 camaro z28. single cat, 100k miles.... so what is all involved in putting headers on? i have a brand new magnaflow catback and a direct fit magnaflow cat with all the piping up to the stock manifolds... ( old exaust is off) new one is waiting to be installed... is it worth going through a header install? i know i'll need shorties, because i want to use all the stuff i just bought...

or should i just bolt up the new stuff and leave the stock manifolds?

Headers are a very good upgrade to do. Alot of people will tell you to go with the mids over the shorties though, but I can see your point since you already bought an aftermarket y-pipe from the sounds of it. It is still possible that an exhaust shop could modify that y-pipe to work with the mid length headers as well.
