Question header choice

im going with the longtube pacesetters for my set-up question is if i can still use my a/c and all my emissions with this system and how hard will it be to change spark plugs in future with this type or shall i go with mids. Anyone know of any other brand that are user friendly and with a good feedback i mean there are lots of brands out there. My system consist of ported heads, hot cam, 1.6rr, cold air ind., 3" flowmaster exh.,hypertech chip, 160deg. therm.,msd box,msd spark wires 8.5, a/c delco plugs. My next project would be installing a 52 or 58mm throttle body. your feedback would be truly helpful here thanks.

The mids are emission compliant and easy to install. Make sure you protect the coated ones real good. I got some scratches on mine during the install. Hope they don't rust right away

With long tubes, spark plug access will be amazing, and much better compared to some other header styles. You can also get the headers with the emissions fittings so you can keep the AIR and EGR systems intact. And yes, you can still use the A/C system.

They are a decent header, but it is a budget header and you pay for what you get. My coated Pacesetters started rusting in less then a years time and my car never sees rain or snow. Other then that, the power gains are good, ground clearance is good, and spark plug access is much improved over stock manifolds.

fast96z, its says coated but they are the painted black ones. By coated do they mean black or the actual ceramic coating, because if its ceramic thats a hell of a deal.

Those are coated, the painted ones usually run in the upper 200 range.
