EGR blocking

im installing headers on my car and i broke the egr tube on the driver side exhaust manifold. should i just block the egr off or replace it.

What will put out the most hp gains? there bbk shorties btw

You wont see any gains from blocking off your EGR. All you'll get is an SES light.

You can get the EGR delete plug for you intake manifold here:

IMO this is the cheaper, easier route. plus it cleans up some engine compartment space.

thats for an ls1 anything for a lt1?

Check Ebay. My set was only $20 and had very think plates and came with gaskets.

The EGR connection is on the passenger side, #8. The only connection on the driver's side manifold is the AIR connection. Your 93 is different than all other years of the LT1. Here's the 93 plumbing (courtesy of Shoebox). The AIR and EGR are combined on the passenger side.

If you need the EGR blockoff for the passenger side connection on the headers or manifold, and another for the back of the intake, and another for the hole that is left after removing the EGR valve, you can get a 3-pice set here:
