Dilemma

here's the scoop.

I just bought my SS and i realized it was comming out of third. I took it back to where i got it and they were going to fix it for me. So they did. ended up replacing some of the forks and syncros and what not and now the transmission is mint. However the place that did the work put the exhaust back on and now there's rubbing and tapping under my center console. It where the y-pipe and catback come together. Its really irritating. These are my options. Take it back and have them try to get all the spacing and everything back to normal... I know someone with a lift and could prolly mess with it myself. OR three is this finally an excuse for a full exhaust system, headers all the way to the tips.

What do you guys think?

Full exhaust would always be nice..
Or just use a jack and get under there and move the pipe around..

I tried that allready, the place must have used an air gun because the bolts are really tight... I'll have to wait till the i can get over to the lift and if that doesnt work im going back... But i think my decision is made im getting those american racing headers with a LM 2 MSD wires some new plugs and a dyno tune. Im getting a pretty good deal from our local distributor.

i dont see why they needed to take off the exhaust to take out the tranny, my mechanic can take out the tranny in <20 min with my longtubes and y pipe and everything attached, it was even quicker before the longtubes
