i found a lt1 mangaflow 4 sale for a good price, i need to know what is the difference between the lt1 kit and the ls1 kit and will it work on my ls1?

 

24 views and no one knows for sure if this will work on a ls1.

 

I'm not sure about Magnaflow, but Loudmouth offers the same catback for all years, with install kits for the 93-95 cars and 96-97 cars. All 96-02 cars use the same catback, except the LT1 cars have different hangers than the LS1s. 93-95 cars should be different, because the catback ends further towards the front because of the single cat design on the y-pipe.

i have look and those crap pics on the mangaflow site and i see a S sharped peice that must hook to the y pipe on the lt1 that the ls1 does not have.

i will have to call managflow and ask them i guess.

Bringing this back because I'm looking to sell my LT1 Magnaflow catback to a guy with an LS1...

IF I have a 96 catback (not worried about S pipe) what kind of modifications would be necessary? Particularly interested in differences between the exhaust hangers, if any
