I didn't have any trouble with the Pypes. They fit like a glove and didn't require rerouting the fuel/brake lines. I'm not sure of the specific dimensions of the Ebay cats, but I'm sure you guys will let us all know how they work out for you.

cats are installed with no issues as of yet. havent gone through emmisions yet, but they tucked up nice. have around 1/2" or maybe a little more from the fuel lines. I'm just gonna get a heat shield just to be safe. I'll post back after emmision test.

Thanks for the update. So those cats you bought didn't come with heat shields on them?

No, no shields. I'm gonna try some of that starter blanket style shield. Either wrap it around the cat or cut strips and cover the fuel lines. It's velcro on one side and some sort of aluminum embedded cloth on the other.

installed those same cats on my car. my shop custom made the y pipe. and with the loudmouth the car sounds amazing. its quiet at idle but when you really want to get on it you can here it. best of both worlds. only problem i have now. i think i have to much heat under the engine bay. which im having starter problems. time for a heat sheild. the shop also said that those cats were pretty good quailty
