Best V-6 Muffler?

I Have a 1987 Camaro with a 2.8L V-6. and i had my local Mechanic Run me a new System from the cat back with magnaflow tips but the tips are just a dress up thing they are the small tips that are just more for dress up rather than tone. anyway...he recommended me to put a V-Force Muffler on it for a different sound. well i don't really like it. it has a deep sound at low rpm's and when i mean low like an idle to like 1500rpm and after that it like has that cracking kackling sound and I Don't really Like it. i want a lower tone sound for it even at a higher rpm. or atleast sumthing better than that now keep in mind this is a 2.8L V-6 soo can anyone recommend me a different muffler or help me out in anyway.

Flowmaster either 40 or 80 series should be a little closer to what your looking for.

Delta Flow if you dont want so much interior resonance.... super forty would be a good choice too ... i personally think the 80 series sounds decent on a v6 camaro .....

IMHO the best sounding muffler for a 2.8L is the stock one... I still have an 88 camaro with the 2.8 and it even sounded terrible with the stock muffler and no cat...
