Question Best/ easiest to install shorty headers

Are any of the shorty headers out there easier to install than others? Also, thoughts on the "best" manufacturer.
Thanks

Re: Best/ easiest to install shorty headers

I honestly feel shortys are just as hard if not harder to uninstall (and definitely uninstall -- ask me how I know) than long tubes.

I assume you've already researched the types (shorty, mid, lt) and picked shorty for whatever reason (lowered, emissions, cost, etc.)

The biggest concern I would have is plug access and making sure you will be able to run your plug wires without burning them. If you do a search you will probably find a few peoples reviews of their header but there probably aren't many people that have ran multiple shorties to contrast between them.

I had BBK shortys on my '94Z but bought it that way and didn't ever do anything with the plugs, wires.

I had Edelbrock TES shortys on my '97 SS before the Pacesetter LTs that are on it now. One thing I can say is they use the stock y-pipe so you have to weld an adapter on the y-pipe for the flange from one of the headers so if you plan on doing it at home and don't have access to a welder that's one thing to consider.
