Anything wrong with using 2 different configured mufflers?

I've come up with an idea in order to get a little quieter exhaust..this would not be permanent as my exhasut system disconnects above the axle, so this would just be a different configuration while my wife has the car until she gets something else and the TA becomes mine then I'll bolt the straight thrus back up.
This is a true dual setup with X-pipe.
I'm thinking of installing 2 larger not straight thru muffs, but in order to get the passenger side to fit, I'm thinking of using a C5 corvette style muffler on that side like this
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=626
And then a matching size magnaflow butted up behind/beside the above muffler in the stock location like this one
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=617

Both are the same size, just different configurations, and I have a X-pipe to even out pressure if one does flow as well as the other.
Any thing wrong with this idea or I'm I crazy?
