get the tubes that originally went to your exhaust manifolds. get ahold of the flange that went directly to the exhaust manifold. cut the tube off. get your hands on a welder, and weld the hole shut.

z275plus:
If they use the same size and pitch as my 95 then try this outfit. Some member in the forum (can't recall who) suggested ...
http://www.cgenterprises.com/drain_plugs_metric.htm ... I got 3 plugs and gaskets mailed to my door for less than 1 blister-packed plug at the local auto parts.
I used:
#1016 22MM-1.5 Hex size=19 Thread length=12.5
#2508 22mm copper gasket
toll free phone orders too: 1-(800)-565-9743

Those are OK for 99% of the 95's. The dual-cat "CA emissions" A4 cars have the smaller threads used on the 96/97 cars. Check before you buy.

How do plug a 3/4" deep female threaded hole with sheet metal? I can see how that would work for the EGR holes, but its difficult to picture it on the AIR connections.

Nice response, and very helpful info you provided considering the original poster has a 95.

Your 93 is different than all other years. The AIR for the passenger side manifold is integrated with the EGR system. That's not the case for 94-97, where AIR and EGR are two seperate ystems, and require different blanking plates for the EGR and plugs for the AIR,
