93 Z28 Largest Exhaust Diameter??

Re: 93 Z28 Largest Exhaust Diameter??
4" true duals, or Y-pipe/4" intermediate pipe? I've pushed 800 flywheel HP through a Mufflex 4" catback with Flowmaster 30-series race muffler. It is a tight fit, but it will work. Won't rattle either, because its pretty much wedged in when it goes over the axle . I have photos available.
System was replaced with 3" Borla XR1 bolted to each header collector, and a 3" pipe with turndown before the axle on each side. No difference in HP, dyno proven.

That's a sweet setup. I just got my longtubes on with 3 inch duals Back to two 10 series flowmasters dumped, and it sounds like the pass side makes a ringing, at 2k, I was thinking cuz the pass side is,one piece pipe from the collector to the muffler, while the drivers side is 3 different pieces. And tips or tricks to stop this ring? I was thinking about putting in a h pipe hoping it might help?

FWIW, I'm running a single 3" pipe over axle to a Borla 40474 muffler and a cutout right before the axle. I tried a 12" bullet and turndown right off the y pipe and saw no difference it ET's or MPH at the track.

All I have with any sound clips is a couple chassis dyno pulls, one with nitrous and one without. The sound isn't all that great, because I was toward the front of the car with the camera, and there is a lot of background noise from the large fan in front of the car, and of course the solid roller valve train. I used to have a website with all this stuff available, but it is no longer working. I'll have to see if I can find a place to host the videos.
