02 sensor simulator question?

02 sensor simulator question?

Is it okay to cut the cats off my 2000 trans am without buying a simulator for it. i looked and just below the driverside manifold i could see the 02 sensor but i didnt see any after the cats. what do ya think?

If you don't have to worry about emissions, it's fine. But you wil also set a check light by not having the O2 sims. The computer will think your cats are malfunctioning. The upstream O2's are up there a little bit on the stock system. I think it should be visable from under the hood. It's been a long time since I have had a stock exhaust.

You may be able to take them out and gut them w/ a big screwdriver or chisel.

okay i was looking everywhere to find a simulator for my ws6 but all i could find was the ones for a mustang. Where can i get a simulator for it?

You'll need two... You can get to the aft cat O2's from underneath..
