The exhuast section (where this thread probably belongs) has a sticky with pics of some true dual setups on it, including mine. It is located here:

There are a couple of options for the true duals. If you want the cleanest setup then I'd recommend going to a reputable local exhaust shop that is capable of fabricating a set for you, which of course can get expensive. Exhaust is something that can really set your car apart from others though if done properly, in my opinion.

For mine, I wanted to keep the costs somewhat down, be able to go over speed bumps, and hear the nasty cam lope. I went with Pacesetter LT's, into hi-flo cats, into Magnaflow mufflers, and dumped turndowns in front of the axle. Kept a little weight off too... It is 3" exhaust all the way from the header collectors.

The guy said he could put something together to go under or over the axle, though the space would maybe limit me to 2.5" piping. Either way, it was about twice as expensive than what I went with; over the axle was most expensive. He had done all three before though on F-bodies...under axle, over axle, and dumped before the axle. I'm happy with my decision, but sometimes if I'm on a long drive (2+ hours) the noise inside gets a bit annoying. Its not bad for running around town and I drive it daily.

im running true duels and mines dumped before the axle. The clearance really is bad for me i got a 2.5 exhaust after the mufflers. The setup i got was origanly over the axle on my buddies car but to save my self money and time i just cut it and put turn downs before the axle. Here is a few pics of mine also my car has bmr lowering springs. I have about as much clearance as before.

Well I talked to him and we've decided to just run a y-pipe and leave a singe exhaust to save him money. Would it be alright to use the stock center section of the exhaust or should that be upgraded

Nice! Wired to the torque arm too! That means when the rear hits a bump, it automatically raises the tips. NICE!
