There's a great event taking place in Las Vegas on April 8-10. The second annual "Pony Car Wars," part of the MATS extravaganza, will pit 2006 and newer Chevy Camaros, Dodge Challengers and Ford Mustangs against each other on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway quarter mile. The winner of this competition takes a cash prize of $500...unless it's a Camaro, in which case the prize increases to $750!

For those who have never attended, MATS features a drag racing program, autocross, car show, swap meet, manufacturers midway, and more.

Hopefully a few Camaro owners going to Vegas to take on the Mopar and Ford contingents. This is the only formal Camaro vs. Challenger vs. Mustang drag racing event that I know of. I think it's gonna be a lot of fun, and there's a decent payout to the winner, too!
