Driveshafts in and 140mph feels a lot better, deceling though is still ruff. Once I get the pinion bearings replacved though it will be good.

I should get it done around the 20th of this month I think is he can fit me in. His work is getting inspected by the state and inspections last 3 weeks. Then he is going on vacation for 3 weeks. He is going to try and fit me in before he goes on vacation.

I spoke to Eric last night and Im going to see if he is familiar with Dana's so Eric can use him to put some 4:10s. Of course this is only if he does great work.

Did you just dyno? Or did you get tuned as well? I am not sure how Blake is with LT1s last I heard I had to bring my own stuff to get it done.

Travis Sweat from HPA can do it for you and will be around Birmingham on the 24th if your really serious about getting it done.

Know what I am serious about doing? Installing the two sealed power lifters I bought. Erik you said its pretty sraight forward and easy. Are we talking pop off the valve cover, take off the #7 rockers pull out the pushrods, pull out the old lifters, oil and install the new ones, insert pushrods, adjust rockers, install valve covers done? Do I need a special tool to yank those old lifters out? And as far as farts go I need one valve cover gasket, the lifters and thats it, provided the push rods are ok.

uh wellllllllll., um, nah thats not all. U gotta take off the intake and the valve covers, of which ever one's r being removed.. U may need a lifter removal tool, with the mileage on urs, or maybe you wont, dont know for sure, just matters what kind of wear ledges there r in the lifter bore.Take ur new ones and let them soak in a can of oil completely submerged, and take an old push rod if you can find one, and after a while, pump them while they r in the oil. Basicly to prime them and have them full of oil. then reinstall. if u have any ledges on the lifter borejust clean them up a lil with some emory cloth, then reinstall
