There are a few. It all depends on how far you want to travel and how much you want to spend

Well, for the job to be done right means a lot. Do you know any in GA, FL, SC, or TN? I see you are from Columbia. I was up that way 2 weeks ago for work related training.

I agree about it being done right. That's why I won't let anyone in Columbia touch my car again. I did once and they really screwed my car

I don't know of any in GA, FL or TN. Actually, I don't know of any in SC either. I'm sure there are, I just don't know of any. Maybe someone else will chime in.

The closest one to me that I trust is in Charlotte. And there's another good shop in Durham, but that's probably too far unless you're in the Northeast part of GA.

The shop in Charlotte that I trust is F-Body Motorsports. More specifically, it's one of their technicians - Rocky Varicola. He is one of the most knowledgeable 4th gen guys I know of besides Jeff Creech, the guy in Durham. If you're interested in talking to Rocky let me know and I'll PM you his cell number. Or you can go to www.fbodymotorsports.com and get their ph. number. If Durham is closer to you I can give you Jeff's contact info also. Either one of these guys will do it right the first time. They are not the cheapest, but they are some of the best!

Lamar Walden Automotive in Doraville does the best work in the state, if not the country. Several GAFBA guys swear by them.

if it is something tat can be done in a day, ken (ssrallyred) can do it in his shop on a sunday (see: gafba.com for details) but otherwise, like chris said lamar walden does good work, and when I called them a few months ago for some stuff I think that their hourly wasnt too bad.

Thanks for all the contacts. I'm thinking about getting a cam installed and maybe some head work. Mainly looking at the cam though.
