Yup, another trans problem

Has anyone here ever had a problem with getting a pilot bearing out? when i replaced it the first time all i did was a thread a big bolt into it and it pushed the p/b right out, this time, not so easy, im up to an 18 mm bolt and all that is doing is stripping out the inside of the bushing, tried an 18 mm tap, same result, i have no idea what to do now, any suggestions?

thanks

I've always used a slide hammer with a hook on it to get them out
