yank 3500/Vig 3600?

Lookin to upgrade my converter. Right now i have the mods in sig(plus le1 heads/intake).

I have a 2800 midwest converter right now. the car launches ok, but i think im leaving alot on the table by not upgrading to a bigger stall. what im wondering is how the yank 3500 2.5 str/vig 3600 2.5 str drive around...how loose are they? i used to drive around a 3400 stall midwest in my old ls1 and it was fine(even with 2.73 gears), but thats a different converter.

Pretty much with a converter, ill go as big as i can get away with where i can at least cruise around with it and not feel too much slip. i guess thats hard to answer, but try! its not a daily driver so it can be a bit loose, but not so loose i have to go almost WOT to drive it around.

thanks.
