Will a new stall help in all rpms?

Right now im running my stock stall, but my question is, will a new stall say a vigilante 3200 help my car pull better clear up to 6500rpms or does it just help me to stall if up the 3200 on the launch. Reason that i am asking this is because my car doesn't pull like it should. I know that i need a new fuel pump and injectors(both are stock), but would it be worth if for sotp feeling to go with the stall first?

Thanks guys
James

No it's not a dumb question, but I think you are missing what a converter actually does.
For all those looking for the faq's about conveters check the following links..
PI/FAQs
protorque/FAQs
understanding stall speed

There are many others but that should be a good start.

BTW, I say go for the converter, big SOTP difference!
