will never buy Spec again

I put a Spec stage 1 in my car back in april. i know i should have gone higher, but thats what i could afford at the time. well from day 1 this thing chattered my teeth out and just last night leaving work, went to shift to 3rd going about 35mph and the throwout bearing shredded. i have never seen this happen before. looks like the whole back of the bearing just broke off where the fork contacts. so my question is, should i be able to just replace the throwout or do i need to replace the whole set? i only have about 10k on this setup.

I'd contact SPEC C.S. on the problem. They may well replace the complete unit free. When I lost an early SPEC3 (old style) after only 8-9 months , they had me send the setup back to them and replaced everything with a newly upgraded SPEC3.
