Why is my clutch slipping?

Hey guys
jst got my 98 z28 m6 a few weeks ago, and my clutch has recently started slipping. The car does have 109k on it, and im unsure if that is the original clutch or not. My question is why is it doing this? And s there adjustments I can make to mend the problem, or do I need to put new parts in. And what parts do I need to put in? Thanks

The clutch disc is a lot like your brake pads, it too will eventually wear out and not grip and need to be replaced. If its the original clutch at 109k the disc is probably worn thin and getting glazed causing it to slip. The only way to fix it is to replace it. Mine went out at only 50k but it was due to oil leaking at the front of the trans onto the disc causing it to slip.

You will need a new clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throwout bearing and probably have to have the flywheel resurfaced.
