Will a stall converter hurt a high mileage motor?

I am in the process of putting in another tranny. Someone told me that the stall converter will hurt a high mileage motor (mine has 117K). My car has a factory shift converter and so I am going to put one on the TH350 will this hurt my rearend any more than the factory one did? Will the stall hurt my rearend. It is all factory stuff.

My 94Z had about 132k when I put a rebuilt tranny and TCI stall in it I also put LT headers on at the same time and its been a hella lot of fun.
It won,t hurt your motor, I do strongly suggest you install a good tranny cooler when you put the tranny back in.
I still have my stock rear as well but it has 3.73s and a TA rear end girdle.
