Well i finally just blew my cahall perf trAns today. It has been 2.5 years of 10 second passes in a 4500 pound impala ss so i can not complain one bit. Frank is a good friend of mine as well. I no sum guys may have bad things to say so lets not say anything about him. He is going thru a difficult time rite now and may not b able to help me. I just got home from the track today. I have reverse, 1st, and 2nd. So im thinkin its the fwd sprag. Will no more tuesday when we take it out. But my question is who else are u guys using that u wood trust for a fast 4400 pound impala ss 4L60E sprayin a ton of nitrous so that this way i can start my research on your guys recomendations. Since it held up this well, take it apart and replace the 3-4 clutches (that is what went away here) with a 10 clutch Borg Warner Hi-Energy setup, that I carry. This clutch setup will hold well over 750 FWHP. Make a full inspection of the parts for wear and/or cracking and replace what is necessary. This will be much cheaper than having someone build you a whole new unit. If I can be of help, let me know?
