Who makes blue torque converters

So a friend of mine found this used torque converter for his 93 Z28. The guy says its a vigilant, but when i looked at it it was BLUE. And I haven't seen a blue one before. Who out there makes converters in blue. Maybe B&M?

Re: Who makes blue torque converters

Is it dark blue or light blue? Recon (Aceomatic) paints theirs light blue. There are many many private converter rebuilders out there. Who knows what color they paint them. I worked at a shop that rebuilt their own converters, and we painted them dark blue.
I wouldn't buy anything that didn't have documentation about where it came from.
