Where is Pin A on the VSS?

Liek the question says.

I know the purple wire has to go on pin A, but I'm not sure which pin that is. The pigtail doesn't have pins identified, but I'm guessing that it is the pin on the right side of the retaining clip that holds the pig tail in place. This guess is based on the observation that all the other pig tails I bought to do the swap have pin A on the right side of the retainer or lock.

So, am I right?
