Where is this noise coming from?

Ok I've narrowed it down to either my throwout bearing or my trans. I think it's my trans but I really hope not.

Ok, Its hard to tell you how it sounds except that it sounds like a worn bearing.

There are 2 cases where the sound occurs.

1. If I am sitting at a complete stop, trans in neutral, clutch engaged, sound goes away when I push the clutch in.

2. Run any gear to redline, push the clutch in and leave it in gear. Sound goes away when I take it out of gear.

Do you think its the front half of my trans making the noise? How much is this going to cost me?
