wheel bearings

I think my rear wheel bearings are going bad. How hard is it to change them and do i need any special tools? How much and long is a job like this. Any tips or advice to make the job easier would be great. 99 camaro ss

you need a slide hammer type bearing remover you have to remove rear cover drain fluid ;remove calipers ,rotors then remove the c clips in differential, there is one bolt going through the center once removed the c clips should come right out with pliers.then slide out axle remove bearings.

From what I have heard the hardest part is jacking up the car. All you need to do is remove the brake caliper. No draining required, just use a wire to hold the caliper setup so it does not detach the hose.

Far from correct. The axles have to be removed to change the bearings, like popstoy said.
