Im trying to figure out why nothing works with a stock camaro shifter. I noticed from other pics on the net my tranny doesnt have a longer shafter that the lever bolts to, thus the lever rubs on the pan. Also when the lever is in 1st gear its parellel with the tranny which i see as a problem. Also the cable doesnt reach the lever. Is there something wrong here or am i just doing it wrong? I really wanted to use the stock shifter but if i cant figure it out soon i might just throw a B&M in the car
