What's involved in changing stall converter?

Sorry for the "newbie" question. I'm trying to get a rough idea of how much labor would be involved in changing out my current stall to a higher one. I have an irritating hesitation (delay) when going in and out of gear and I'm starting to think it's because I don't have enough stall. Can anybody chime in with just the basics as far as how much of a pain in the butt it is....what all has to come down, to change one out?

thanks in advance!

Robert

not hard just have to remove the tranny, pull the old converter off of it then, put it back together again...

Javier did a great writup on it, http://www.zmydust.com/converter.html
