The only real solution is to send it to us. I'm just trying to save you the same aggrivation we hear a few times a day. The conversation goes. "I know this guy who is a great transmission builder, but he can't get these A4's right."
Now, ask yourself the obvious question...If he's good with transmissions, then why are you asking what parts to put in it? Shouldn't he know?
For $1300 (based on your supplied core), I'll build you a 700 that will handle in excess of your 500 HP goal. If you buy each part (retail) to build the unit, you'll have close to $800-$1000 in parts. The 3-4 clutches alone are $75-$100 a set. That can get expensive if you have to go through a couple sets before he finds out what modifications are needed to make them live (There are MANY!)

Please don't see this as me trying to be arrogant. We've done so much research and development with these units that we know what they like and need. I hate to see people dump alot of money in good parts, and have them end up getting trashed because they tried to save a few dollars and have someone inexperienced build it. We've built transmissions for customers who's best friends own transmission shops.

I don't make our parts lists a "secret".

Just remember...It's more than just "parts" involved, though.

Yes. We modify them to make a WOT 3-4 shift. I, personally, have a 700 (4L60) in my '93 Z. I was making a 3-4 upshift in the quarter mile about 75-100 ft. before the finish line.
If you have any questions, feel free to call me. 302-250-1202.

I make the 3-4 WOT upshift on my CPT pro race 700 on a 150 shot about 2/3 the way down the track. No problems yet.
Damn 4.10's and baby tires.
