I know the transmissions are pretty much the same (the 4L60E being the electronic version of the 700R4), I have a 700R4 and my buddy has an LT1 Roadmaster with the 4L60E but the trans is bad, he scored the car for almost nothing and its just gonna be a beater "rat-rod" of sorts / burnout machine, we'd like to throw the 700R4 in, do we just have to rig up something for the TV cable or is there more to it than just that? thanks!

 

yup thats about it,, and the speed sensor, and rig up a tcc switch or pressure switch to turn on the tcc

 

No rigging needed if you just buy a throttle body, and throttle cable bracket from a 93 LT1 car.

 

ya that will work for the tv cable, still need to get the tcc hooked up

 

On a 700 thats only a matter of a switched power wire and a ground.
