what gears?

Thinking about getting new gears. Was looking into 4.10. I dont know much about gears so any info is appreciated. Whats a good gear to go with that wont handicap my top end/trap but will still help me get off the line a little quicker/better 1/4 mile. I know there are gears out there that will get you off the line hella fast but will lower your top end and vice versa. Thanks for any and all info guys!

sounds like you might want 3.73s, 4.10s suck on the highway, and I've heard that you have to go to 5th to go through the quarter mile. Say goodbye to our wonderful gas milage, but hello to raw power!

thanks for the info. I have crappy mpg right now anyway and have to hit 5 in the quarter mile most of the time. How would I tell if I had 4.10s and didnt know it?

If you do a search you'll find the most common advise for a daily driver is, 4:10's for a 6 speed and 3:73's for an auto.
