what did the th350 come in

What kind of cars came with the TH350 with a 9" tailshaft?

I need to start looking around for a core for my buildup and I need to know what to tell the junk yards to look for.

Thanks

Paul

Various models of GM cars and light trucks from 1968-1982 used the TH350. It's a huge list. You really need to look at GM cars of this era and examine the tranny pan. The 13-bolt patterns is pretty distinctive. Take along a gasket for comparison. You'd be best off measuring the tailshaft.

thanks for the info, will do some more research to see if I can find out some more. all the junk yards I have called have th350s with a 6" shaft. I'm going to have to just go to a U-Pull-It and have a look around.

Well, you can narrow it down by not looking at front drivers
