What is causing this driveshaft noise?????????

Hey guys I have been having some driveshaft problems I need help.
My stock driveshaft would viberate at 110mph. So I picked up a aluminum driveshaft from a LS1. That shaft made a whining noise. So I replaced the u-joints and had it blanced. It still makes the same noise. WTF?????????????

Hey man

describe the problem a little bit for me. Is it a whine that gets louder as you put more load on the car? For instance, when you accelerate through the gears do you hear the whine grow and become louder. Also does it happen only when your on the gas? If you are off the clutch and just cruising does it go away?

B/c i had a wicked nasty whine throughout most of my speeds. The loudest was at highway speeds (70-75mph). I thought it was my d/s but wasn't, then i thought it was my u-joints, and nope. Turns out that my bearings in my rearend were pretty jacked up. I went ahead and had a rebuild for it when i went from 4.10's to 3.73's and that took care of the problem. Hopefully that helps....

It is a whine at about 75-80 mph. It only does it when I am on the gas.
It is a voooo voooo type of sound. It goes away when I hit 90-100 mph.
I replaced the u-joints and had the drive shaft balanced, but the noise is still there.
