Need 43" driveshaft

Installing a 1995 LT1 drive line into a streetrod..the stock Z28 driveshaft is 41-5/8" center to center of caps. The center of rear cap to the end of the 27 spline slip yoke is approx 47"

Could use one about 1.5" longer..just tossing this out in case someone has a longer drive shaft...before I have one made.

Re: Need 43" driveshaft

I have an aluminum drive shaft out of my V-6, that I bought from inland empire driveline. Cost me about $400. I bought it to replace the two piece V-6 drive shaft. I was told the V-6's were a little longer than the V-8. I would ask $100 plus shipping. I am parting out the car at the moment.

Let me know if your interested and I will measure it from u-joint to u-joint (you would like have to use your part that goes into the tranny as the V-6 is different).

Give me the center to center measurement....also let me know if it has 1-1/8" caps with inside lock rings.

Re: Need 43" driveshaft

just measured it and it came in short at 40.5 inches. Strange I thought the V-8's had shorter drive shafts than the V-6's
