What is the best set up?

I have a 1993 trans am thats turbo charged puttin out round 500 at the motor with 8 psi and it has the stock rear end and transmission... wat would be the best route.. beefing up the stock transmisson and rear end by performing a performance rebuild or purchasing a different set of both?? i like the gear set in the rear end right now however, i need some advice a to which way i go.. at maximum performance it throws out around 700-750 lbs of torque when there is full bost.. We need more info. Is it a race car only or a street driven car? Would you like a trans-brake to build boost at a dead stop? Do you have a tight budget for mods? You could rebuld it all and have it last a long time but then again it could fail. The stock rear can be fragile but some have made them last a LONG time behind good power. Same goes for the transmission.

Or you could do a 4R70W ford trans with a transbrake, a TH350 or TH400 chevy trans, a torque converter setup for your engine/turbo combination, a stronger driveshaft is a must, and you can get into a 12 bolt, 9", or S60 Dana rearend. Options aren't a problem anymore.
