HELP! what is wrong with my car!
Ok, so lately when I drive my, at car random times I will come to a stop and go to accelerate and the car like holds back, like the rpms go up and everything but it kinda feels like the car doesn't engage or something, it feels like 10% of the power is getting to the wheels, it's totally in gear. it just kinda holds back. and then all of a sudden it will kick and and be just fine.
So I know the tranny is all good I had it serviced last fall (car has 63,000 miles on it) The tranny shop checked it out and said there was nothing found in the fluid.
Some days I will drive it around, go WOT and 0-90mph and it will be flawless. other days I will pull out of the parking lot, hit a stop light and then accelerate and the car just like barely picks up. the car doesn't feel like it's in neutral or out of grear, it totally accelerates, it just doesn't feel like there is ANY torque at all
You know how when you blip the throttle a 10mph roll and it just takes off, somes times I don't feel that, some times I kinda blip the throttle and the car kinda just moves forward.
I would say this problem only happens like 10% of the time, if I drive the car for an hour around town.
The other thing is, the car only does it if i'm going less then like 20mph. If I floor it from a roll going 30mph the car shifts hard and strong like it always has. It always shifts nice and firm at high rpms too. It's freaking annyoing and weird. also don't know if this helps solve the problem, I have a tranny cooler installed and the shift firmness is turned down low, also the car has a 3200 stall. Personally I think there is something wrong with the stall........

Sounds dumb and simple but is it down any fluid? My LHS did that a couple times bc im too lazy to change the trans lines that leak. It would rev to 3K then clunk. I put a quart of fluid in and it was all good.

fluid is all fine, it's actually just fresh, when I started having this problem I had the tranny flushed and what not. thats why I'm thinking it's not the tranny, because it has already been checked out.
Does this even sound like a torque converter problem at all?
I will have to check the module, would I just scan the computer with my diablo turner?
