Weird TransAm Factory Gears&Does anyone use 4.30's?

Then thats exactly what I have, on a seperate note when purcahsed it said it had a performance rear, but I thought that was bs. Oh and my mechanic told me they were 3.42- I dont say things without proof

wow 4.30s would suck on a A4. I had a 3.73moser 12bolt and went 11.90 then went back to my 3.42 10bolt and ran 11.79 lol. 4.30s would be maxing fast.

This is by no means a 1/4 mile car, more or less I just wanted something fun and different, I really am sick of hearing go with 3.73's, my car is not a daily so I really dont care if it maxes out fast. I am ditching overdrive essentialy....plus an m6 with 3.42s doesnt get too bad mpg...

"My mechanic told me" is a long way from proof.

Photos of the ring and pinion, in which the number of teeth are clearly visible? That's proof.

Sure I will take some pics when Im not freezing my *** off. Seriously though if more is required I will do so. Should I count or would you guys like "photo proof"
