Not sure if this belong in this section. Lately whenever I make a turn, left or right, I hear this moaning sound when Im turning the steering wheel. It only happens when Im making a turn at like 5mph. It sounds like its coming from the back though I could be wrong. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like the power steering pump.

 

The noise only happens when the car is moving. If I was at idle and turning the wheel, You dont hear the noise. Could that still be the power steering pump?

 

Yes, typically a PS noise will happen when the engine is under load @ low speed. First thing, have you checked PS fluid level?

 

ummmmm, if it was p/s ya would hear it more so at idle as less pressure and pump action .........could be the rear diff groanin or the e,brakes hangin a little or the breaks themself,s moanin .i have the same problem in mine and im just to lazy to really track it down all the way

 

Front wheel bearings.

 

Coming from the back? You need some GM limited slip additive. The plates will groan, pop, squeak and clunk-more noticeable on slow sharp turns.
