For added weirdness, I too have a Spec, but mine is 3. (also have the same wheels as you, but mine are all 17")

Cross your fingers and hope yours dont end up like mine Ive heard the stage 3's are worse. If I buy another, Im going with a stage 4 (no springs), or a mcleod twin disk.

Well, it was the flywheel. I got a crap one from a local member.
Had the original one resurfaced and shimmed it and the car is not making any more noise. Will be on the road tomorrow, just have to put the seats and console in.
