valvebody and th400 rebuild question

i bought a th400 from one of my friend's friend's (yeah i know) that was disassembled. i don't really know much about it except for the fact that it was behind a drag chevelle for a while. it seems like it had a nice race build on it (a bunch of the red clutches and such) and the one servo/gear thing the oil holes were drilled out to 3/16". i am trying to figure out what kind of valvebody it has (whether it is a full manual or automatic), if you guys could help me. i have provided a picture underneath

i was also wondering if anyone knew of any good online resources for rebuilding th400's, as i am going to attempt to do it myself. i have a really good book but all the pictures are in black and white. color pictures, or even just a view of what it looks like put together would help me out a lot.

Looks like a stock valve body to me. Shoot me a picture of the worm track side. Most manual valve bodies do away with the governor feed tubes. Did the transmission have a governor in it?

here is that same picture from farther back

and here is something towards the front of the case

if it makes a difference i do have a block off plate for one of the rear holes on the side, i think for where the modulator would go

That's not a manual valve body. I can't really see anywhere where the case is cracked. are you referring to the rough casting?

yes i am referring to the casing. if its just a rough casting then i am happy . would it be better to convert it to manual or just buy a manual valve body?
