V6 converter in a Lt1???

GEtting ready to have the wifes 4L60E rebuilt and was wondering if I could use a converter from a V6. I figure it would give a little more stall the the stock V8 unit and be cheaper than an aftermarket converter.

Will it work??
How much will it stall??

A few years ago it was popular to use the S-10 4.3L converter. My '98 S-10 flash stalls to about 2200.

Are you using an S-10 converter in you Z or do you have one and that is what it will stall to?

No, I have an A4 S-10 4.3L pickup. The converter stalls at about 2200.
